CAP Wyoming Wing participates in joint training exercise

CHEYENNE, WY (August 1) -- Over 15 members of the Wyoming Wing of the Civil Air Patrol participated today in a day-long weapons of mass destruction exercise in Cheyenne. The exercise involved numerous federal, state and local agencies including the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security and Wyoming Military Department.

Wyoming Wing Announces Member Promotions

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - The following members of the Wyoming Wing, Civil Air Patrol have been promoted –

CAPTAIN
D.J. Sadler, Cloud Peak Composite Squadron, Sheridan, Wyo.

FIRST LIEUTENANT
Kyle McDonald, Wheatland Composite Squadron, Sheridan, Wyo.
Chris Gallus, Laramie Valley Composite Squadron, Sheridan, Wyo.

SECOND LIEUTENANT
Chris Allen, Wyoming Wing Headquarters, Cheyenne, Wyo.
Jonathan Bell, Laramie Valley Composite Squadron, Laramie, Wyo.

Major Randy Schein Assumes Command of the Laramie Valley Composite Squadron

LARAMIE, Wyo. – Civil Air Patrol Major Randy Schein has assumed command of the Laramie Valley Composite Squadron of the Wyoming Wing. He replaces First Lieutenant Mike Gross.

Cheyenne Composite Squadron to host Civil Air Patrol Open House

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - The Cheyenne Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol will host an open house at the Wings of Wyoming Flight School at the Cheyenne Airport on Sunday, November 11, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. On display will be the latest in search and rescue equipment as well as communications technology including Civil Air Patrol’s new glass cockpit equipped Cessna 182, the Civil Air Patrol’s new 2007 van and the Wyoming Wing’s communications vehicle. The event is free and open to youth 12 and older and all adults with an interest in aerospace programs, search and rescue, and cadet programs.

Wyoming Wing Announces Member Promotions

CHEYENNE, WY- The following members of the Wyoming Wing, Civil Air Patrol have been promoted –

Heather Smith, member of the Cheyenne Composite Squadron, was promoted to Captain.

Kelsey Aitchison, member of the Wyoming Wing, was promoted to First Lieutenant.

Douglas Lineen, member of the Wyoming Wing, was promoted to First Lieutenant.
