2009 - Winter National Board, Day 1

Col Morton and I arrived in Washington, D.C. and are settled in our room. Col Morton had a very easy trip; however, my trip has been a nightmare.

The final day of the conference started with the awards ceremony. Unfortunately, I left the listing of deserving winners in my suitcase which is somewhere between Orlando and Laramie.

Well, I have arrived in Orlando, FL for this year’s summer national board. The trip to Orlando went quite smooth, although the plane was packed.

This morning started with an update from various directorates. I was zoning, so I failed to write about the operations program. Sorry. However, here is what else is going on.

Winter National Board – Day 2

Well, officially, the National Board started today. However, it did not really start until the afternoon. In the morning we had an opportunity to participate in a leadership forum.

Col Morton and I arrived safely in Washington DC after a wonderful flight on one of Frontier's newest Airbus'. In fact, it was its first flight. Definitely a nice aircraft.

I just added a new link to the menu on the left called "CAP Videos." It will be used to highlight videos that help to show off our great program.

National Board - Day 3

The third day of the national board was another great day. If you have never been to an annual conference, I recommend it.

Congrats Wyoming Wing

We were recognized for two awards today. We (Captain Ken Moerscher) received the award for safety officer of the year.
